Welcome to course HU 104 Primer to Agricultural Commodities. This introductory course provides a foundational understanding of major agricultural commodities—including corn, soybeans, & wheat—and their historical role in shaping working landscapes. This course explores how commodity markets, production systems, and policy influence land use decisions. Participants will gain insights to better engage with producers, identify opportunities for conservation integration, and navigate the intersection of agriculture and natural resource stewardship.
